Torrevieja will allocate 1.2 million euros to boost local commerce through the Bono Consumo campaign.
The vouchers can be used at participating establishments between November 1 and December 31.
Torrevieja’s commerce sector will receive financial support of 1,202,023 euros for the 2024 Bono Consumo campaign, making it one of the most significant initiatives in the province of Alicante. This generous investment will be available for redemption during the last two months of the year, from November 1 to December 31, in various sectors of the city's participating businesses.
The Torrevieja City Council is finalizing the details of this new edition, following the publication of the regulatory bases in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP). To participate and take advantage of the promotion, vouchers must be purchased in advance, between October 14 and December 31, or until supplies last. This purchase can be made either in person or online. The online option will be available from October 14 at 2:00 p.m., through the designated website, and can be carried out by anyone with an electronic or digital certification system recognized by state authorities.
Vouchers can be purchased between October 14 and December 31, until supplies run out. As for in-person purchases, these will be possible starting October 18, from 8:00 a.m. until October 31 at 8:00 p.m., at the offices designated by the City Council. To do so, interested parties must be of legal age, present their DNI or NIE, act on their behalf, and have a prior appointment. However, people with disabilities or physical impairments can acquire the vouchers through their parents or legal guardians, who must present the corresponding documentation, along with the DNI or NIE of the person represented, as well as the prior appointment.
The Councilor for Commerce and Hospitality, Rosario Martínez, explained that the allocation process will be direct, by the Municipal Strategic Subsidy Plan and the General Subsidy Ordinance of the City Council. Interested establishments will have a period of 10 calendar days to submit their applications, starting the day after the publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante, that is, until Friday, August 23. The application for the subsidy and its justification must be submitted electronically through the City Council's Electronic Headquarters.
