XXVII Torrevieja Book Fair: April 12-21 at Paseo Vista Alegre
Renowned writer and journalist Juan del Val will inaugurate the event on Saturday, April 12, at 12:00 p.m.
The Councilor for Culture of Torrevieja, Antonio Quesada, together with the manager of the Municipal Institute of Culture "Joaquín Chapaprieta," Miguel Fernández, have presented the 27th edition of the Torrevieja Book Fair, which will take place from April 12 to 21 at Paseo Vista Alegre.
The opening ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 12, at noon, featuring the traditional visit to the stands and the official inauguration at the activities tent. As a special guest, journalist, writer, and producer Juan del Val will participate in a colloquium and sign copies of his books.
Over 50 Writers and a Diverse Program
Throughout the nine-day fair, a total of 52 authors will be signing their works. Additionally, a diverse program has been prepared for all ages, including:

Literary talks and debates
As an additional incentive, attendees will enjoy a 10% discount on book purchases during the fair.
A Record-Breaking Participation in 2025
The Councilor for Culture highlighted the growth of this year’s edition, which will feature 20 book-related businesses, including bookstores, publishers, and cultural associations. He also emphasized the participation of authors from different regions, such as Catalonia and Madrid.
Quesada expressed his gratitude for the support of local institutions, including the Municipal School of Theater and the Ars Creatio and 3MAP associations. He also encouraged everyone to attend the event:
"We want residents and visitors to enjoy this great literary celebration, discover new publications, and take part in the many scheduled activities."
